Fall Of The Leaf

Failing tree that me let go
Of the many leaves that fell
I take a bow then the blow
another blow to a fallen leaf
With the winds I float
Dry and brown as a deadstick

Breaking down in the cold gush
Tattering into flying pieces
These evil winds show no mercy
It lifts, it breaks ,it blows
Falling to the ground shattered
My broken pieces in many places

A green leaf that wished for eternity
Away from the fall of winter
Left to re-enter this nature as dust
With children stamping on my pieces
Awaiting a wet white grave
To take me from pieces to my peace
